2023 PROCLAMATION FROM PRESCOTT, AZ MAYOR PHIL GOODE AND COUNCILWOMAN CONNIE CANTELME

Comfort Bears in a Catastrophe Founder and Executive Director, Mimi Hymel, was honored with a proclamation for our work with Comfort Bears in the city of Prescott.

"I actually saw this work first hand. I went on a ride along with my son who is a firefighter, and there was a bad fire with 3 children in the apartment complex, and they were given those bears and immediately it stopped the trauma and the crying, so it's such a wonderful thing. I got to see it in real time."

- Councilwoman Connie Cantelme
